Really friendly staff and delicious food. We popped in last minute for an early lunch with our toddler and were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

We love visiting The Halfpenny! On our most recent visit there was a bit of a mix up and we were waiting for quite a while for our food. This was OK and we could tell the staff were very busy that day. However, we were surprised when our bill was fully covered and we were told we did not have to pay anything! This level of generosity shows the kind of people you have working and managing The Halfpenny - we are very grateful. It’s also worth saying that every single time we have visited, the food and coffee has been excellent. The staff are friendly, welcoming and kind. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. We are loyal customers that will most definitely be visiting again and again. Thank you so much for making every experience a great one

I went for brunch earlier today with a friend and just had to leave a review as the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely but most of all the service was fantastic! The lovely Irish girl who greeted and served us made the experience that much better! 10/10 will definitely be returning:)

Such a lovely find for our brunch this morning! Staff were friendly and courteous. The food was delicious! Highly recommend a visit, it's worth venturing a little out of Bath city centre to try it out, I promise! Another handy feature is that you can book online for any time during the day and there are different rooms which provide for a different dining atmosphere.

We only stopped for a coffee, it's a charming cafe with plenty of indoor and outside seating. The flat white was lovely.

Great food (waffles especially and can’t beat a good crumpet), nice coffee and good atmosphere. Staff all very friendly. All round lovely cafe in Widcombe, will continue to be one of my personal favourites for a quick coffee, food break or pint in the sun in Bath.
